Regular use of AEROPAK Chain Cleaner is important to remove any grime build up.These clumps wear and shorten the life of your chain.AEROPAK Chain Cleaner works on all types of motorcycle chains such as standard,O-ring,X-ring,and Z-ring.Leaving a chain ready for AEROPAK Chain Lube application.
NOTE The type of motorcycle chain fitted will affect the way you clean.A plain motorcycle chain consists of metal-on-metal links with no seal.Plain chains can be cleaned more aggressively than sealed motorcycle chains. A sealed motorcycle chain (aka O-ring,X-ring,or Z-ring chain)uses a rubber seal between the inner link and outer links to keep grease inside the pin and bushing cavity ( and to keep road grime out).This extends life and requires a more gentle approach to cleaning.
